Conception of a Great Tutoring Service
Think Math Tutoring was conceived in the summer of 2009 by Ginger Steggles, a former Mathematics professor. There had been a lot of online tutoring services popping up, but there didn't seem to be any that allowed students to schedule their own appointments with the tutor of their choice and meet online at the same place. Also, many of the other services seemed to be homework services rather than working toward a goal of making students better learners, which is what tutoring is all about.

Our virtual classroom* has full capabilities and is just like meeting in person, but is more convenient for tutors, parents, and students. Time and money are not wasted traveling. Plus, all sessions are recorded and made available for students to review later, something that would not be possible for most in-person meetings.
